Boot camp: Week 1

First week of boot camp is almost done.  We had two major projects this week.  One was a sawing/filing project where we had to cut a circle and a triangle out.  And then cut out another circle and triangle out to fit in the whole of the first one.  The other project was for solder practice.

I also finished my charm for the ECU symposium this weekend.  It is a piece of glass over a piece of tin.
I hope someone good gets it!

Nautical theme house

I am back in Columbia and have settled into my new digs.  The house is decorated in a nautical theme.  You need to visit to really appreciate it.

Christmas in Columbia

December 4 and 5 was the Christmas parade in Columbia.  It was a fun filled weekend with live nativity scenes, La Posada, Santa arriving on a yacht, Christmas parade, and a great metals workshop in our new studio.
